Willamette Valley, Oregon · 100% Chardonnay · Dry · 750mL

Tasting Notes Lemon Curd, Geranium, Fresh Straw

91 Points, James Suckling

The inaugural vintage of Kings Ridge Chardonnay, blended from four of our longest-term grower partners across the Willamette Valley. Palestine Hill anchors the Southern Valley, Kraemer Farms and Bielenberg bring character from the east side, and Witness Tree Vineyard in the Eola-Amity Hills rounds out the blend. The Witness Tree portion was barrel-fermented for richness, while the rest underwent cool, slow fermentations in stainless steel to preserve aromatics. The result strikes the balance that has become a hallmark of Willamette Valley Chardonnay: fresh, crisp, and just kissed by oak.

The 2023 season delivered a warm, dry summer after a slow start, leading to a surprisingly early and compressed harvest with all fruit in the door by mid-October.

Pairing and Serving Pairs well with grilled fish, roasted chicken, soft cheeses, and light pasta dishes. Serve well chilled at 45 to 50 degrees F. Drink now through 2027.
